Maa Durga Charitable TrustEducational Development
Maa Durga Charitable Trust’s main motive is to work for the educational development of the children of underprivileged sections. We are working to take responsibility to give them access to a proper and quality education system. Regarding this, we keep some arrangements for camps for the children and people of the backward sections. We try to make them aware of the importance of education as it is one of the basic human needs and rights. We work to promote educational facilities to make them involved in the process of formal education and to get them out of the trap of child labor, human trafficking, and other illegal issues. We believe that they can be able to find new hope for their lives in our organization and we can make their journey towards achieving their goal life easy going and smooth.
Providing Study kits to Needy Children
We are working for the advancement and development of education among the children of marginalized communities. Most of the backward people are unable to buy their children the essentials for education like books, notebooks, and other stationery materials because of their weaker financial condition. We are arranging some programs for distributing these stationeries to the children belonging to the poor background who can not afford them and lack them as their pockets do not permit doing so. We also try to aware them to get their educational right and overcome their limitations in the way of education.
Cloth Distribution
Clothes are one of the basic needs of human life. And we as a non-profit organization working for humanity, strongly feel the pain of the people who are lacking adequate clothing and struggle for surviving without clothes. To give an unprivileged person a pair of clothes is as good as dressing him with self-respect. With this objective, We have taken the responsibility to distribute usable clothes, and garments to the people belonging to the backward section. For this project, we mainly use old and wearable clothes collected by our volunteers from door to door. So we urge you to donate your reusable clothes to us and we will reach out with them to needy people making them feel comfortable.
Food Distribution
Maa Durga Charitable Trust is well aware that most people from poor backgrounds are struggling to earn their daily bread due to their weaker economic condition. As a result, they are lacking the daily nutrients that are needed for their health. Food is the most vital human need and right. So we are arranging camps to distribute food among them and make them aware that they should have their daily food to restore their energy to continue their daily work. Even during the Covid pandemic, when common people especially the daily wager, and migrant laborers were left puzzled and struggling to get fed themselves and their families, we have tried our best to make them relief from that hurdles by arranging several food camps for distributing
sufficient nutritious meals. We want to thank our donors, volunteers, and partners for their sincere support to make this happen and to benefit a large number of people from these camps.
Medical Support
Our organization is working in all possible ways to make poor people relieved from all the hazards they face in their life due t their financially weaker background. Providing them with medical support remains the main motive of Maa Durga Charitable Trust. Regarding this, we conduct several numbers of health camps to make them aware of the fact that health should be their primary priority and provide them with free health check-up facilities. We also try to support them with free medication and supplementary foods with the help of Reputed medical professionals.
Bridges of Sports
Sports are a popular way to keep the body healthy and free from illness. Maa Durga Charitable Trust promotes the importance of sports as it helps to maintain body fitness and to be free from sickness. People who are dealing with chronic diseases are given more importance to make them aware that they should engage in sports to get rid of their illnesses. We also organize tournaments in cricket, football, and other sports for those people who are interested in sports and can perform well in their own genre. Our main motive is to stand by those who lack opportunities to showcase their talents in sports and also try to give all support to those who are highly interested but have no financial support to start or continue their career in sports.
Cultural Program
Maa Durga Charitable Trust is concerned about the fact that all persons have born with their inherent talents. we arrange some cultural programs during the festival of Durga Puja where people of all ages take part in different cultural activities like singing, dancing, reciting, drama, etc. Our main motive is to search out the talents and possibilities of the participants. We also reward all performers for their performance and keep them motivated to continue with their talents so that they can achieve a prestigious position in their lives and their artistic creativity can get recognition in the society.
